Central Jakarta Crowns New Abang None Winners

Muhammad Najmi Mafaza Hasan and Callysta Khansa Fathinah were crowned as the new Abang-None (Abnon) Central Jakarta 2024 yesterday night at the Abdurahman Saleh Auditorium, RRI Building.

The three pairs of winners will represent Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Wiwik Satriani said the Abnon final night is the culmination of the Central Jakarta Abnon 2024 selection process. Prior to this, they had gone through a series of guidance and training during a month-long quarantine period.

"At that time, we presented 15 pairs of finalists selected from around 200 applicants," she expressed, Saturday (7/13).

Besides them, the jury also chose Arsyad Ratliff Praamadhi and Karina Moudy Widodo as Deputy I Abnon, Fernando Farrell and Marsya Aqila as Deputy Abnon II.

Then Naufal Yudha Nur Rashid and Azzahra Mayraina Rahmatputri were the first hope winners, Firstyo Dewo Wicaksono and Nadiella Shilma were the second hope winners and Mochammad Haekal Malik and Pandee Made Nancy Nareswary were the favorite winners.

"The three pairs of winners will represent Central Jakarta at the provincial level event which will be held in about two months," she asserted.

She explained this year's abnon had the theme 'Digital Theatrical'.

"This theme is intended to combine the digital era with Jakarta culture, resulting in a unique and interesting style," she explained.

The abnon competition above received appreciation from Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma. He hoped, the winners would be able to make Central Jakarta proud at the Jakarta Province level.

"There are still two months to improve and perfect again thoroughly, thus we can perform optimally and win the overall championship at the provincial level," he stated.
